I thought of this strip from the first time we sang this song in church, but it took me a while to actually draw it.
I still love “Matlock”, but it’s not realistic. For instance, it pretends that the Constitution still promises us a right to a speedy trial.
Inspired by a mattress I saw up on blocks and couldn’t figure out why it didn’t collapse like this.
I drew this even though I knew there was a good chance too many people would have forgotten the Carly Simon song, “Nobody Does It Better”.
In hospice meetings, I hear about way worse!
