I think Pete should be right on this. Let’s call the OED people and see if we can get this included next year.

This was actually inspired by my niece when she was little. Her father was going to Seattle and she was determined to find out who Attle was.

There’s an “Asian Fusion” food restaurant near here. I’ve never gone because I don’t know what it’s supposed to be fused with.

This is the kind of ‘toon I love coming up with. Where the characters are somehow aware of comic strip tropes.

This was my thought from the first time I heard the phrase, so I think I’ve used this joke back in “Cottage & CO”.

I can’t honestly say I’ve tried British food. It just has a reputation for not being good. Maybe that’s why they drink so much.

Seems like a good, descriptive name to me! Not, however, an appetizing one.

The sign in the first panel is better when read aloud. Try it.

I really like bruschetta, except when it’s apparently the entire meal. Then I still want the entre.

I think of this whenever we sing that song. It’s a beautiful hymn, but I half expect some lunatic to object.
