Okay, I admit this one didn’t work as well as intended. Some readers didn’t realize the first two panels rhyme.

Counselors that I have shown this one to liked it. A lot.

Inspired by my real-life clock. I wasn’t scared, but it took a moment for my recently-awakened brain to figure out what it meant.

For anyone who asks, no, this isn’t going to be Penn’s office look going forward. This is a one-time joke … unless you count the other time I used Lucy’s booth.

Why has this monkey not shown up since? It’s not so much about his anxiety as that I’ve never been satisfied with how he looks.

This cartoon went over well with the counselors I know who actually lead group sessions.

My daughter-in-law, who is a counselor (and a wonderful human being) was surprised to get Christmas off this year. We’re so excited! (If you had Doctor Tuttle in your local paper, you would have seen this before the holiday!)

I bounced this one off some professional counselors I know. They thought it was funny, and a good motto.

I think this is the kind of counselor I would be. I would try and try to be compassionate, while thinking in my head, “What is wrong with you!?!?”
