Speak Up!

I wish I could do many and varied fonts like Walt Kelly. I’ve tried, this is as close as I can get.

I was kinda surprised I didn’t get a letter from someone pointing out that squids aren’t octopi. Like I didn’t know that.

Counselors that I have shown this one to liked it. A lot.

I have known a woman who liked rutabagas. She’s dead now, but I don’t think it was the rutabagas that killed her.

Inspired by my real-life clock. I wasn’t scared, but it took a moment for my recently-awakened brain to figure out what it meant.

Every time I think all the band names have been taken, I hear of a new band with a wonderful, memorable, stupid name.

This was inspired by a bottle of maple syrup my wife purchased. Just the shape, it looked like a flask of alcohol.

I tried to figure out how to work Rogue One and Solo into this. I didn’t try to work in 7-9.

Obviously, I had to look up how to spell the guy’s name. And no, I can’t spell it from memory.

I think this would be a fun comic book to draw or write for. Especially if it were very political and completely insulting to one or both sides.
