Thanksgiving

If you would like to see these cartoons before they appear online, contact your local newspaper and tell them to get “Doctor Tuttle”! Then you would have seen this strip on or before Thanksgiving instead of a week later.

Builders’ Blues

The first two were easy, but it took me a while to come up with a third tool (and its problem). It just didn’t seem complete with only two tools.

This cartoon has been received quite well. Everyone seems to think they should go with the “Duck, Sucka!” name, though.

Now I want to try this. Make the cone out of Fritos, and a layer of cheese over the top. Yummm!

I think this would be a great show. No, not really. Unless they can bring back the original angles–I mean, angels.

Penguin Parenting Skills

This one apparently didn’t work well in black and white (ha!) because the reader’s eye was not drawn to the egg at Penn’s feet as well as in color like this. Now you see it, right?

Based on actual events. Really. But, who hasn’t experienced this? Why do we always figure we know better than others how much should be said?

This was drawn in July when it was REALLY hot. It came out in the papers during a weird cool spell.

Feeling Down

My first thought was a “feeling down” joke that might have been inappropriate. I like this one better. And since Flatfoot’s girlfriend is a chicken, that kind of ruined the first joke, anyway.
