Second Opinion About the First Tweet I always have this picture in my mind (hopefully untrue) of the first doctor calling the second doctor and telling him what to say. Or her. Don’t want to be sexist in my calumnies.
Selleck or Magnum? Tweet I enjoy the “new” Magnum, but the original is still better. REALLY like “Blue Bloods”.
DNR? Tweet The thing is, I think a lot of people are already forgetting DVRs, so the joke may not work.
Wise Guy, Huh? Tweet I have always loved a good quote, and many of them I have actually found by reading the context, though I admit that both of these were found in Bartlett’s.
Couch Advancement Tweet We recently bought a couch. At the store, the salesman neglected to mention that it had USB ports.
A Worthy Debate Tweet I tried instigating this debate back when I was on FB and the only people who would respond would come up with a third name. Apparently, none of them understood the concept of a binary choice.
Why Doctors Are Doctors Tweet The doctors I know truly have a love for what they do. Usually for their patients, too. They do not, however, tend to care about their patients’ time, and this really bugs me. I have an uncle that tells his doctors how long he is willing to wait in their lobby and, if they don’t see them in that time, he walks out and finds another doctor.
