Hike Me That Turkey!

Thankfully, we ate up the turkey pretty quickly this year. And we’re having omelets for Christmas. (No turkey in sight!)

This was in honor of my mom. She loved making things for Christmas. Sometimes decorations, sometimes gifts, she just loved to create.

For those who are thinking this is a riff on “What Child Is This?” it’s not. It’s from a song called “The Peace Carol”.

I bounced this one off some professional counselors I know. They thought it was funny, and a good motto.

I have often wondered this. And I bring it up every year. If not in cartoon form, then in conversation, or a sermon, or a Sunday School lesson.
