My friends who have not only their favorite Bible translation, but their favorite year of that translation, found this strip funny.

It’s been a running joke through the years that the bug (he’s in most of the strips, have you noticed?) is a very good gift-giver.

I wonder why they were called “turtle” doves? Maybe they really liked ice cream with chocolate sauce and pecans.

I actually thought of this joke years ago, when a child in Sunday School. Don’t know why it took me this long to draw it.
