I’ve thought this about that song (Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee) since I was a child.

I think of this whenever we sing that song. It’s a beautiful hymn, but I half expect some lunatic to object.

I drew this right after they elected the new guy. I should have run it that very weekend, but didn’t.

As a kid, I can remember we discussed every aspect of the holiday, from religious to secular. Yes, we talked toys most of all, but we did touch on the other aspects.
