Swing that Bed!

Back when I worked in hospice, the first time I heard the term “swing bed” I couldn’t imagine what that meant.

I(t’s a recurring joke over the years that we don’t know just how roomy Tuttle’s shell is. Like Snoopy’s dog house.

I wish I had a pair of sunglasses so dark I couldn’t tell day from night. Be great for west Texas.

I have known a woman who liked rutabagas. She’s dead now, but I don’t think it was the rutabagas that killed her.

I like the little puppy Goldie is holding. And no, I have never named the puppies. I’m assuming they did, though.

I can’t think of anything to say about this strip. The strip says it all (but the website wants a caption.)

I like the two worms. They haven’t been here in a while.

Apparently, “mongeese” is acceptable in some quarters. (Just kidding, it’s not. Whew! I’d hate to have to redraw the strip!)

This has gone over especially well with people named Phil and people who know people named Phil. With actual philologists? I have no idea

I thought about referring to a great Daffy Duck line and making him a “buck and a quarter quarterhorse”.
