I’ve thought this about that song (Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee) since I was a child.

There used to be a restaurant near here called Butterlove. They went out of business between when I drew this cartoon and when it was published. Not my fault!

Do people still use the phrase “put your money in”? I used to hear it as a child and putting my money in oil sounded messy.

I can’t honestly say I’ve tried British food. It just has a reputation for not being good. Maybe that’s why they drink so much.

There really are neighborhoods near my house where every house on the street has a Grinch. Then, the next street over, they all have reindeer.

Are there animal dentists who will buck a non-bucked beaver or rabbit? Why not?

Do people still use Turtle Wax? I’m guessing so, but I don’t think I have ever used it myself.

Seems like a good, descriptive name to me! Not, however, an appetizing one.
