This one apparently didn’t work well in black and white (ha!) because the reader’s eye was not drawn to the egg at Penn’s feet as well as in color like this. Now you see it, right?
It was shortly after doing this cartoon that I actually made French toast with jalapeno cheese bread. It was pretty good, but not good enough to repeat.
I actually thought of the song in the 2nd panel first. Then, I started thinking of what would be even worse than that. My sister is trying to set the third panel to music.
