If you had one of the classy local newspapers that run “Doctor Tuttle”, you would have seen this strip on Valentines Day. Made more sense then.

Dairy Woes
For years, I wondered why dairies always had a million old tires spread out over white tarp. Now I know. And now I want in on the white tarp business because that’s probably where the money is!
Notice the bug was so disturbed by this chain of events that’s he went white as a sheet (of paper).
No Groundhog! Not NOW!
At what point did we decide that the only groundhog worth listening to is Phil? Don’t all other groundhogs have this power?
A Hero Arriveth (late)
This is the most physical comedy Charles has ever gotten! Hooray for Charles!
I’m really proud of the cat’s posture in the first panel! The joke is good, too.
Better Early than Never
It was an ongoing joke in the strip years ago that Charles was always showing up late for Groundhog Day. If you had this strip in your local paper, you would have seen this one before Feb 2
Penguin Food Traveler
Yes, I know there would need to be several Wal-Marts to serve all the penguins of Antarctica. It’s a cartoon!
Build the Business
Long-time readers will remember that Pan used to be the cook at the diner. Also, I was very pleased with her expression in the last panel.
Take a Gamble
I have only ever skied on rentals, because I don’t get to go that often. I know people that swear by the skis they own and would view rentals as an unnecessary risk.
