Mongooses or Mongeese?

Apparently, “mongeese” is acceptable in some quarters. (Just kidding, it’s not. Whew! I’d hate to have to redraw the strip!)

Split, the Difference

My English teacher wife really enjoyed this one. Honestly, it makes sense, doesn’t it?

Noel Chicken

My wife used to make a dish called “Noel Chicken”. It was fantastic. I think she stopped because she got tired of it. (I didn’t.)

How Else?

With most teachers this only works once. With the poorer teachers, not even that often.

The Nekkid and the Knewed

I debated with myself if, in the third panel, it should be spelled “nude”. Still not satisfied, but don’t think I would have been either way.
