I did a strip years ago where the punchline was “root bier float” and I had so many people contact me because they didn’t know what a bier was. I was really surprised
The funny thing was, I drew this cartoon then, a few days later, my wife and I were eating at a place and I realized it WAS easier to eat my baked potato like a hot dog.
