My family did a lot of pitchin’ washers for many, many years. Don’t know if my siblings still have their sets, but mine eventually fell apart. Might have to build another set one day.

It’s weird how many people didn’t get this strip. And I was expecting some pushback on the concept of husband-abuse but got none.

I was afraid my doctor friends would take offense at this. They were at the golf course when I tried to show it to them, though, so we’ll never know.

Football Star

We assume that pigs would be against football. But what if they think of it as an honor? Especially if you get to be in the championship!

Leading the Cheers

I know there are still cheerleaders, but the last few times I’ve been to a game I couldn’t tell if they were saying anything. Does this mean they were doing a good job, if everyone is shouting over them?

For Love of the Game

In previous seasons there was no indication that the players were doing it for pay. Is this a new development or just a continuity error? Only time will tell.

Curling!

We barely had winter this year, so it would have been doubly hard to curl. And no one got sick at our house, so we weren’t hurling, either!

Seasonal Depression

I thought it ironic that when this came out, the ‘Boys were on a pretty good win streak. And no, this wasn’t a knock against those people who really do suffer with seasonal depression. Just a commentary on those of us who get a little too wrapped up in “our” teams.
