I’m happy for any couple that has a baby, but I guess I don’t understand the fascination with “royal” babies. So this kid will never have to work, big deal.
I remembered this strip and it’s hard for me to believe that’s it’s already been 4 years since I did it. Seems like it was just months ago. But then, I also remember that I was so struck by that quote that I used it in my novel Ashes to Ashes (see it at http://garisonfitch.com/book/ashes-to-ashes-the-last-valley-book-1)
I remember taking piano lessons and one of the many problems with my playing was that metronomes had absolutely no affect on my ability to pick a rhythm and stay on it.
A friend of mine was really into beading at the time this strip was drawn. I thought the work was attractive, but I was most amazed she could even pick the little things up, let alone do anything with them.
Personally, “canon” is the six movies Lucas made. I watch the rest, enjoy some of them (“Rogue One” and “Solo”), but the “real story” closed with “Return of the Jedi”.
