To be a good counselor, you need empathy. For your own sanity, you need a good sense of humor. Remember where you are before using either.
The schooling to be a psychologist, psychiatrist or counselor is quite extensive. So why are they all still so … oh, never mind. We know the answer.
This is probably true.
Seriously, I ditched Facebook and Twitter years ago and have never regretted either decision. Don’t think I’ve missed out on anything, either.
This is my attitude. I’m happy to help, so long as I don’t have to be invested. Just kidding!
Why DON’T we usually consider the British when we think of island people?
Of course, just as this strip comes out, Dr. Flip-Flop has been banished from the airwaves, for some reason. Not like he became less reliable!
Years ago, I did several strips about Phydeaux being afraid of the mustard identifier. Seemed like time to bring that phobia back as I see so many people afraid of so many silly things.
I know a lot of these people. They brag about “cutting the cord” to satellite or cable, but now they spend way more than they ever did before.
The conspiracy theorists I know are no less absurd.
