Doctor Tuttle is in!
Sam White has been drawing comics and writing for as long as he can remember, with Charles Schulz and Louis L’Amour being his two biggest influences. Working now in the medical field, Sam sees a lot that needs to be commented on — and hence Tuttle, the doctor and friend to a whole slew of crazies. Tuttle’s and DoctorTuttle run in several newspapers in Texas. Sam’s novels can be found at garisonfitch.com.

Wouldn’t Dat Be Gwand?

Sometimes on Sunday mornings, I sing the hymns in Elmer’s voice in my head.

A Christmas Story

Since the greatest movie ever made was released in 1947, it must be kind of depressing for everyone making movies since then to know they’re only hope is “2nd best”.

Ink Blotz

This seemed appropriate for the times as the “impeachment proceedings” appear to me to just be a Rorshach test for the voting public (with no right answer).

Thanksgiving Do’s and Do’nuts

When this came out in the paper, it was a week before Thanksgiving, which means it shows up on-line on the actual holiday. That was not on purpose. I was just too lazy to read a calendar until it was too late.

Something Different

The keenly observant will note that the series Tuttle mentions in frame three is clearly the 1980s version of the show.

Gettin’ High on What?

Is there anyone who still refers to a toilet as a pot?

Kale Sera Sera

We had some kale chips recently that were actually pretty good. My wife tried to make some at home and, while tasty, just couldn’t get them as crisp as the store-bought ones.

National Biscuit Company?

I had to explain this one to my sons because they didn’t realize that NBC symbol was supposed to be a peacock. Look at it: it only looks like one to those of us who know what it morphed from.
