I think it has gotten better. I’m not seeing as many couples out on what looks like a date and staring at their phones instead of talking to each other.
We haven’t gone quite this far, but my wife and I have both looked for our phones all over the place only to find it in some obvious place. I’m sure we’re the only ones who do that.
Inspired by my difficulty with trying to call in on our automated conference line for hospice. I was hoping there was a cut-off point after which I could say, “Sorry. Tried. See ya next week.”
