CNSnews is reporting that medical missionaries from the cesspool of Venezuela are making a mission trip to war-torn Detroit.
“Our goal,” said lead surgeon Rafael Lamanza, MD, “Is just to bring a little of the richness and healing we have found in Jesus to the poor souls who have to live in horrible situations like this.” Looking around at the abandoned buildings and vacant lots, he added, “It’s just hard to believe that human beings have to live this way in the twenty-first century. What happened to the government here, for crying out loud?”
Leaders of the city of Chicago have asked the group, called South American Certified Religious Workers (or SACreligious Workers), to come and share the gospel message there, but so far the SAC doctors have said that going to such a hell-hole is “just too scary.”
