I have never watched an entirety of one of those movies, but as I visit patients, that’s often what’s on TV in their room. In those half-hour blocks, they all look the same.
I am impressed by all the stats that sports mark these days, but kind of feel sorry for the guys who have to notice them. “Another slider. And another slider.” “No, that was a curve!” “Wait, what did he throw while we were arguing about the slider?” “Maybe a fastball?”
I actually saw a place selling 8 or 16 ft, Kevlar USB cords. Maybe because everyone else has a stupid cat like mine that likes to chew through computer cords. (He’s somehow smart enough to never chew on power cords.)
I think it’s stupid that there’s not just one standard for all writing. That being said, I love to mix styles and find a way to say something that’s correct in one style and wrong in another.
