Language of the Soul … On Sale Now!
I haven’t done any strips about Porc selling poetry in a while. I should bring him back. How might Trumpanomics have effected poetry sales?
Hallmark Movie Binge
I know who people who watch every one of those movies. And I know people who think such watching is a sign of the end of our culture. I think it’s just funny.
There are certain Bible stories we never have the kids act out but, admit it: the little boys would probably enjoy playing out the more gruesome stories.
What Do I Have of REAL Value?
This is the first mention in the strip that Pete has a lot of money. Now, I’m wondering if it’s true and he just works as a fry cook for something to do, or does he think what he has makes him wealthy? Which would kind of make him more sane than we’ve previously thought.
“Cottage & CO”, starring Burt Cottage, was the strip I drew years ago, before “Tuttle’s”. Seeing these characters again is like running into a dear old friend. I drew them today (my birthday, by coincidence) because this punch line just didn’t work with any of the characters in “Tuttle’s”.
We Prefer the Term …
I don’t mind that “nerd” is no longer really an insult, but I wonder how that happened.
Fun With Catheters
When sitting in interdisciplinary team meetings, I’m the one cringing when the talk turns to catheters, as it often does.
For those uncultured-types, this is a reference to both “The great Waldo Pepper” (9th greatest movie of all time) and “Where’s Waldo?”
Lizards 1 – Salamanders 3
I think this started because I had been reading about the differences between the two. Probably. That’s usually how a strip like this comes about.
